TRACES PORTAL UPDATES The online functionality for filing original as well as correction statements in Form Nos. 138, 140, 143, and 144 has been made available on the TRACES portal. Users may utilise the facility for filing the respective statements. New TDS RPU Version 1.2 and FVU Version 1.2 have been released and shall be applicable for: Quarterly e-TDS/TCS statements pertaining to Tax Year 2026–27 onwards. Following amendments to RPU Version 1.2 and FVU Version 1.2 have been introduced. 1. Addition of 'Interest Allocation' and 'Others Allocation' columns under Challan Details in RPU, along with implementation of the corresponding validations in FVU. 2. Restriction of the Date of Payment under DD Details to fall within the applicable quarter and tax year. 3. Update of the Nature of Remittance master table in RPU and FVU for Form 144.
